About this product

Kiln-dried sand is washed sand that has been through our kiln and then screened. Drying is what allows accurate sizing. Moist sand clumps and blocks a screen. Dry sand flows and separates cleanly at each mesh.

We produce close size fractions between 0.3 mm and 6 mm, to order, at Talgai on the Darling Downs. Dry sand also stores, flows and blends reliably. That is what turf infill, jointing sand, filter media and dry-mix products need. Washing, drying and screening all happen on our own site in Queensland, so the sand is the same every delivery.
