Washed Sands
Quartz sand processed through our on-site wash plant to remove silt and clay, then screened to grade.
About this product
Washed sand is the foundation of our range. Raw sand from the deposit is fed through the wash plant, where water separates the silt and clay fraction from the quartz grains, and the clean product is then screened to a controlled grading.
The result is an extremely clean, consistent sand — the same grading and the same low silt and clay content, delivery after delivery. That consistency is what a concrete or mortar mix design depends on, and it comes from washing and screening every load on our own site.
