MRP fill and sand for civil projects
Civil work needs fill that can be placed and compacted to specification, and sand that suits a concrete mix design. MRP supplies select fill for building platforms, subdivision earthworks, sub-grades and hardstands, and washed sand for on-site concrete. We also produce a water flocculant for clearing settling ponds and dewatering water. All from our own quarry at Talgai, Queensland.
What civil contractors need from us
A controlled fill is only as good as its consistency. The engineer sets the density; the fill has to reach it layer after layer, with field testing to prove it. Concrete sand has to be clean, with silt and clay removed, and hold the same grading from one load to the next. And on a site with sediment ponds, water has to be clear before it leaves the site.
How we make it
Select fill is screened to a uniform granular material that compacts the same way every time. Washed sand goes through our wash plant to remove silt and clay, then is screened to grade. It is extremely clean and consistent. Both come from one deposit, processed on our own site.
Ordering and delivery
Bulk supply by the truckload, scheduled to the earthworks program. We are a Queensland TMR-approved producer; if the project needs grading results or source registration, say so when you enquire. We deliver throughout Queensland. South East Queensland is the regular run.
